The Tour Striker Tour Prototype Training Driver features a 460 cc, classic pear-shaped driver head with an altered club face that is designed to force the golfer to lean the shaft forward at impact and hit the golf ball on the sweet spot of the club face.
While today's conventional driver heads boast larger "sweet spots" and greater forgiveness, the fact remains that no matter the size of the driver club head, there is only one true sweet spot and center of gravity, and that sweet spot is the size of a pin head!
For that reason, the Tour Striker Tour Prototype Training Driver has been designed with a striking area that is 1.68" wide, or the width of a golf ball, and like the Tour Striker Training Irons, the bottom of the face, toe, and heel of the clubface have all been removed to make striking the ball with the proper angle of attack, and on the sweet spot of the club face, paramount.
After only a short period of practice, a golfer will start to find the desired rhythm and timing in their swing to consistently strike golf balls with the proper angle of attack, as well as on the center of the modified face, leading to consistently longer and straighter shots.
