A Golf Swing is both Circular and Rotational

Circular and Rotational

A golf swing has both circular and rotational elements to it.  I often encourage students to swing a club up off the ground because it’s easier to understand.  The problems arise when you try to tilt that circular and rotational move over to hit a golf ball.

This is one of the reasons I created the Tour Striker Educator – to help educate your hands.  Off the ground the Over-Under Drill, where the educator starts between your arms, then goes under your lead arm at the top of the backswing is easy.  When you tilt your circle over to hit a ball, this drill will ensure you maintain your circular and rotational move with well educated hands.
