Often times you’ll hear the phrase “keep your head down” as a way to quickly fix your swing. The problem with this advice is that it can cause problems in other parts of your swing. The key is to find the balance in keeping your head down and maintaining structure in your upper body.
Use the Smart Ball to hit cornerstone shots, or quarter shots. As you go up into your backswing, notice how the dimension between your elbows stay the same, even though your trail arm is bending. This is a great drill to make sure the structure of your arms and the radius of your swing is on point.
