Are You Crossed Up in Your Backswing?

If you’re one of those golfers that gets crossed up at the top of your swing, practicing with the PlaneMate is a fantastic way to add consistency and reliability to your swing.  At the top of your backswing, you need to have awareness of the club and your arms.  With the PlaneMate on, you can feel the band behind your trail arm. If the band is stretched over your arm, that means you’re “crossed up.”  It’s extremely difficult to be reliable from this position.

Try this drill to help build a reliable golf swing. Get to the top of your swing and tap the band on your trail arm 3 times. Let the club shallow and the band come off the trail arm just a fraction to find that happy space.
