His creativity around the greens.

The "stock" way, which I usually recommend for most players...
And the "fancier" way, with spin.
These are by no means the only ways to play these types a shots, so this is where you can really let your creativity shine.
That said, it's always a good idea to play the odds and go with whichever method most often gets your ball on the green and closest to (or in) the hole.
