Control Your Backswing for Improved Consistency

Control Your Backswing

A lot of recreational players tend to overswing and lose control in their backswing. A lack of structure in the arms and particularly in the wrists, makes it nearly impossible to reliably control the clubface, creating random errant shots, toe hits, and weak shots out to right field.

The Tour Striker Impact Strap was designed to force you to maintain the relationship between your lead arm and the club, but it is also an important tool to help you control your backswing. Don’t over hinge your wrists, keep a little bit of tension at the top of your backswing and good things will follow.
