Here's what I tell students who say they can't get through the shot.
You can't get through it because you're not prepared for it.
If the face is open coming down, hanging back isn't a flaw. It's your only option. You're buying time to square it up.
So fix the face first. Get the lead wrist bent back and the face working down, and the club arrives strong. Now the pivot pays you back.
Watch the POV again and look at the logo. If you can read it coming into the ball, the face is wide open. If you can't, you're in business.
