Flop Shots

A few adjustments to the PlaneMate can help you to practice hitting a variety of specialty shots. To practice hitting flop shots with the PlaneMate, rotate the connector so that it’s at a 45 degree angle (instead of perpendicular to the grooves). Your stance should be slightly wider than hip distance apart and the ball should more forward in your stance.

Feel the tension in the band at address, as you bring your club back, and as you swing and rotate through. Because you adjusted the club connector, the club face should be open through the swing. This allows you to hit the ball high with a soft landing angle.
