From the Introduction
Go ahead…I dare you…teach your wife to play golf! Or, maybe you want to spend more time with your kids and golf is your outlet? Golf is a game of a lifetime and bringing new golfers into the game is a great way to create your own foursome and it means a lot to me, because it is a game that I’ve loved since my introduction to it as a young boy.
My time spent with my father on the golf course is some of my fondest memories. His best handicap during his years of golf was around 14. Certainly not considered proficiency that equates to teaching professional status, but he knew how to present information in a kind way, challenge me and then let me grow on my own. Also, he knew when his introduction skills were maxed out and how to pass me off to a qualified professional.
This book shares some of my dad’s wisdom as well as my mentor coaches that helped me a long the way…and I had a lot of help!
So, let’s get started on the journey of introducing golf to your loved ones and creating more golfers for a lifetime. As a bonus, you may regain your old form or learn some beautifully simple insights that get you playing the best golf of your life.
