The Wall Drill for Early Extension

If your most common mistake is a push or a hook, it’s likely caused from early extension.

Tour Striker Golf Academy Coach Aaron Olson has a great drill called the Butt on the Wall Drill. You can do it with any wall or use your bag out on the range to gain an awareness of returning to your forward bend in the downswing and transitioning that into a side bend as you collect the ball.

The Tour Striker Impact Strap is a great training aid that adds to this drill, locking in the angle between your forearm and the club, preventing you from compensating by thumbing down to get to the ball.
